Part of the Program was the implementation of prototypes of experiential activities on the theme of “Education for Sustainable Development in the Protected Area of the Asterousia Biosphere Reserve”<\/strong> to students of the last grades of the Vagionia Primary School and small delegations of students of the Vagionia High School and a total of 44, in the presence of Director of the Nikis Makrakis School, the Director of the High School and representatives of the Parents and Guardians Association. The activities, lasting 2 teaching hours, were carried out by Professor Michael Scoullos, Vassilis Psallidas and Eftychia Korkidis from the MEdIES educational team with the collaboration of Maria Sfakianaki, Anna Martimianaki and Eleni Fanioudaki from the Pedagogical Team of K.E.P.A. Gouva.<\/p>\n

The Awareness Event for Educators and Citizens<\/strong> of the wider area of the Municipality of Gortyna for the Asterousia Biosphere Reserve was held in the Auditorium of the Miamos Primary School. The event was attended by more than 19 people from the local community, teachers and parents of students from the wider area of Messara, Vasiliki, Miamos and Lenda.<\/p>\n
